Engineered around an open-system sole, GUM exposes its core functional elements (natural-rubber Pods, TPU stability frame, and ultra-light EVA) to reveal the raw, unadorned truth of the material.

While our classic GAO and TYRES PLATFORM series embrace a heavy, sculptural industrial aesthetic, the GUM collection is engineered for featherweight movement. Built with a dual-density EVA midsole and targeted rubber Pods, GUM delivers optimal support and cushioning without the weight of traditional platform soles. It features a standard European (EU) fit that cradles the foot naturally.

both Paris footwear adheres to standard European (EU) dress-shoe sizing, which typically runs larger than standard athletic sneakers. We recommend choosing your size based on your foot length in centimeters (CM / JP size). For example, if your athletic sneakers state 26cm, select EU41. If you fall between sizes, we suggest sizing down due to the ergonomic interior of the GUM sole.

The natural rubber and TPU components on GUM footwear are crafted for resilience. For routine maintenance, wipe the rubber pods and sole system gently using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild, neutral soap. To protect the raw-gum texture and hand-stitched heel lines, avoid abrasive brushes, harsh chemical solvents, or machine washing. Allow them to air-dry naturally away from direct heat.
