10 Years of both Paris: Celebrating at Our New Oberkampf Concept Store
Ten Years of both Paris
both Paris turns 10. We marked our anniversary at 14 rue Oberkampf in Paris, home to our new concept store: a lab-store we conceived as a place for Parisians to connect with the brand.
Over the past decade, we’ve become known for futuristic designs and signature chunky soles, and have collaborated with brands including Jeanne Friot, Kidill, Dion Lee, Palladium and Charles & Keith.
Those soles are crafted from natural rubber, which gives the foot a stable, cushioned foundation, while leather detailing keeps the shoe breathable. We made them to work on the street or the stage, at the workplace or at home.
An Immersive Brand Exhibition and Experiential Space
Situated in one of Paris’s defining creative districts, our new Oberkampf concept store transcends traditional retail as an immersive hub for architectural footwear design and tactile discovery. Designed as a hybrid laboratory, museum, and boutique, visitors can experience our sculptural profiles firsthand and complete purchases through our global online flagship. A permanent craft installation anchors the environment, documenting our proprietary manufacturing process: from raw natural rubber development to finished silhouettes.
The Night at 14 Rue Oberkampf
To celebrate, we welcomed key Parisian figures from styling, journalism and the city’s social scene, with DJ Louis Savary keeping the night going until 10 pm. We conceived the space as part laboratory, part museum, part boutique: you can try on our shoes, buy in-store or online, and see how we make them in a permanent exhibition of our in-house production line.
What's Next
This anniversary also opens a new chapter. Mats Rombaut has returned as Creative Director and designs the both collections alongside his own label. He introduces the GUM sole, wider and more rounded than our signature GAO sole, which debuts with our Fall '26 collection. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we're offering free shipping to France until the end of October, 2026. Explore the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection on both.com.
